Create naturally enhanced eyes for prom night

Planning for the prom can be overwhelming and time consuming, which is why you need to plan your makeup approach in advance. Even though the prom is a big event, you don't want to try out a new makeup look for the first time when you're under pressure to look your very best.

If winged liner and false lashes don't suit your style, choosing a natural look makes sense. This soft makeup look uses taupe eye shadow to give the eyes depth and metallic pearl with a slight pink undertone to brighten and attract attention. Fill in your brows and apply mascara to complete the look.

Materials
- Medium-dark brown eyebrow pencil with attached screw brush (Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra Fine Shape & Define, 4)
- Matte taupe eye shadow (Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette, Twig)
- Fluffy blending brush
- Metallic pink-pearl eye shadow (Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette, Pearl)
- Black mascara (L’Oréal Voluminous Curved Brush Mascara)​

Instructions
1. Fill in your brows with medium-dark brown eyebrow pencil, and use the attached screw brush to diffuse the pigment.

2. Sweep matte taupe eye shadow onto the crease area of your eyes with a fluffy blending brush.

3. Brighten your eyelids by applying metallic pink-pearl eye shadow with the fluffy blending brush.

4. Apply one or two coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes.
