Create a two-toned border for a modified French tip

Have you ever looked at your polish collection and wondered how to create something new? Painting nails a single color is fast and easy, but it can get boring. A French tip always looks fashionable, but that doesn't mean it has to be pink and white. Summer apparel is playful and fun, so break out your pastel polish and give your nails the same treatment.
This two-toned manicure gives you a touch of color with a surprising twist. Mint green and pale pink adorn the base and tip of the nails, while the centers remain glossy and clear. Try alternating the shades from nail to nail or paint them all the same. Whatever you choose, you'll have a manicure that goes with everything and doesn't take hours to create.

Instructions
1. Paint the nails with two coats of clear gel base coat polish, curing it in between coats with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Paint the nail in front of the cuticle with pale pink gel using the liner brush. Follow the shape of the nail to create a reverse French tip effect. Cure the wet gel with the lamp.
3. Clean your brush before switching colors by dipping it in acetone and wiping it onto a paper towel.
4. Dip the liner brush into mint green gel, then paint the tip of the nail. Drag the color along the outer edges of the nail, so it meets the pink gel on each side. Cure the wet gel with the lamp.
