Create a captivating cranberry look

One of winter's most recognizable colors has become a year-round favorite with makeup fans. Cranberry eye shadow can be subtle or sultry, so you can tailor it to the occasion. This luxurious look is full-on glam and made for a night on the town.
Don't worry that the burgundy hues will make you look feverish. The trick to pulling off this look is to layer the colors, deepening the outer corners of the eyes with burgundy shimmer while keeping the center bright with raspberry metallic shadow. This gives the eyes depth and dimension.

Instead of black liner, don a pair of false lashes and keep the rest of your makeup subtle. This look-is all about the eyes.

Instructions
1. To make your makeup last longer, gently rub and press makeup primer into your skin with your fingers.
2. Even out your skin by applying liquid foundation with a fluffy foundation brush. Stipple the foundation onto your skin to achieve a flawless finish.
3. Cover darkness below your eyes and bring light to other areas of your face by applying liquid concealer to the center of your forehead, directly above your eyebrows, along the center of your nose, and onto the tip of your chin. Diffuse the product with a small, fluffy brush. Conceal darkness on your eyelids too, if necessary.
4. Lock the concealer in place by pressing setting powder into your skin with a powder brush. After you’ve set your entire face, lightly sweep away any excess powder.
5. Define the hollows beneath your cheekbones and in your temples by applying brown contouring powder with a cheek brush.
6. Give your skin a healthy-looking glow by swirling medium golden-beige blush onto the apples of your cheeks with a cheek brush.
7. Accentuate the tops of your cheekbones, the center of your nose, below your brow bone, and above your Cupid’s bow by brushing on pearly quartz highlighting powder with the highlighter brush.
8. Sweep matte peachy-beige eye shadow into the crease of your eyelid with a fluffy blending brush.
9. Apply matte orange-brown eye shadow with the pencil brush to the outer corner of your eyelid and in the crease to deepen the look.
10. Pat matte dusty burgundy eye shadow onto your eyelid with a small eye shadow brush, and use the fluffy blending brush to diffuse the pigment.
11. Layer metallic raspberry eye shadow onto your eyelid with a firm shader brush in patting motions. This prevents product fallout below your eyes.
12. Apply matte dusty burgundy eye shadow below your lower lashes with a smudger brush.
13. Darken the outer corner by applying burgundy shimmer eye shadow with the pencil brush.
14. Make your eyes look more open by applying peach eyeliner pencil on the lower waterline.
15. Gently curl your upper lashes with the eyelash curler, and apply mascara to both the upper and lower lashes.
16. Groom your brows with the spoolie, and fill them in with eyebrow gel and an angled brow brush. Diffuse the pigment and fluff up the brow hair with the spoolie.
17. Pick up the false lashes with the tweezers, and put a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds before applying the lashes just above your upper lash line.
18. Brighten the inner corners of your eyes by patting pearly quartz highlighting powder near the tear duct with the small shadow liner brush.
19. Use a lip brush to line and fill in your lips with reddish brown lipstick.
20. Spritz your face with setting spray to help hold your makeup in place all day long. Hold the bottle 6 to 8 inches away from your face to avoid leaving wet drops on your skin, and wave your hands near your face to help the mist set quickly.
