Create a quick summer look with a pop of color

When summer weather sets in, it's time to rework your makeup colors and products. Sun-kissed shades of peach and bronze take a prominent role, but adding a vibrant color can really amp up a look. Since you'll probably be spending more time outdoors as well, it's a good idea to ditch the full coverage foundation in favor of a lightweight BB cream.
For this quick look, combine shades of orange, peach, bronze and gold with electric blue eye shadow. Fade-resistant brow gel is a must for humid days, and water-based jelly highlighter will keep you glowing without looking powdery. This tutorial also uses highlighting drops. When mixed into BB cream, they give the skin a healthy glow.

Instructions
1. Groom and fill in your brows by brushing brow gel through them.
2. To give your eye shadow more staying power, apply eye shadow primer to the entire eye area, then use your finger to blend the product into your skin.
3. Apply metallic orange eye shadow to the lid and crease with a small eye shadow brush.
4. Line the lower waterline with blue eye shadow stick, then use the small eye shadow brush to smudge the color below the lower lashes.
5. Pat metallic aqua eye shadow below the lower lashes by using the small eye shadow brush.
6. Make your lashes look denser by lining the outer third of the upper lid with black pencil eyeliner.
7. Use your ring finger to pat gold glitter eye shadow onto the center of the eyelid. Tip: Using your finger will give you better color saturation than using a brush.)
8. Apply one to two coats of black mascara to your upper lashes.
9. To give your face a dewy glow, mix BB cream and highlighting drops on the back of your hand, then apply the mixture to your face.
10. Bring light to the center of your face by applying concealer below your eyes, along the center of your nose, and on the center of your forehead. Use the applicator wand to apply the concealer, then buff it into the skin with a small, dense face brush.
11. Define your cheekbones, temples and jawline with the contour stick. Blend the product into your skin with a cheek brush.
12. Dab a small amount of peach cheek and lip stain on the apples of your cheeks, then blend the product into the skin with a cheek brush.
13. Apply the same cheek and lip stain to your lips to coordinate the color with the rest of your makeup. Use the applicator wand to deposit a small amount of color on your lips, then blend the color with your ring finger.
14. To give your lips a little extra sparkle, apply peach glitter lip gloss on top of the peach lip color.
15. Complete the look by tapping bronze jelly highlighter along the tops of your cheekbones and onto the center of your nose.
