Achieve glowy skin even with matte foundation

Makeup trends have cycles, just like fashion. The latest trend featuring luminous, glowy skin may have you thinking you need to buy completely new products. Before you clear out your makeup drawer and hand over your credit cards, watch the following tutorial.
You don't have to give up matte foundation in order to try out the glowy makeup look. Setting spray adds both longevity and moisture, and when sprayed onto matte foundation, it creates a hydrated glow. Add a duo of highlighting powders, and you'll be radiant in no time.

Materials
- Luminizing primer (NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator)
- Liquid foundation (Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation)
- Kabuki brush
- Setting spray (MAC Prep + Prime Fix+)
- Damp beauty sponge
- Liquid concealer in two shades (Fenty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer)
- White gold and quartz highlighting powders (Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit, Summer & Moonstone)
- Highlighter brush
- Brown and brown-black lip liner pencils (NYX, Cocoa & Brown Black)
- Fuchsia shimmer lip gloss (Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polish Gloss, Jennifer)

Instructions
1. Use your fingertips to apply luminizing primer to your entire face.
2. Apply a few drops of liquid foundation to your forehead, cheeks and chin, then buff the foundation into your skin with a kabuki brush.
3. To increase your foundation’s longevity, spritz your face with setting spray, then press the mist into your skin with a damp beauty sponge.
4. If you have darkness or discoloration under your eyes, apply liquid concealer over it with a damp beauty sponge.
5. Use a highlighter brush to blend white gold and quartz highlighting powder together, then brush the powder along the tops of the cheekbones, the center of the forehead, along the center of the nose, underneath the brow bones, and on the chin.
6. Spritz your face once more with setting spray, and then pat the mist into the skin with a damp beauty sponge.
7. Define the lips by lining them with the brown pencil first, then darken the outline by applying brown-black lip liner on top.

8. Fill in your lips with fuchsia shimmer lip gloss.
