How to look luminous using sheer coverage makeup

If you're just starting to wear base makeup, or if you're trying to move away from a full coverage look, natural makeup is a good place to start. Sheer makeup blurs imperfections, imparts a dewy glow and looks like real skin. This style of makeup also perfects the skin without feeling heavy.
To make sure your face truly glows, start your makeup application with a thin layer of luminizing primer. It adds radiance to the skin and helps makeup last longer. Contour before applying your foundation. The added luminosity in your liquid makeup will prevent the contouring cream from looking harsh and obvious. It will also help it meld more seamlessly with your base makeup.

Even though this look is sheer, a little setting powder is still necessary. It eliminates excess shine and preps the skin for bronzer, blush and highlighter.

Instructions
1. Pump one to two drops of primer onto your fingers, then gently rub it into your skin.
2. Apply a small amount of peach color corrector to the under-eye area if you have dark circles or discoloration. Gently diffuse the product with a flat concealer brush.
3. Apply concealer to the areas of your face that you want to lighten, such as the under-eye area, the bridge of the nose and center of the forehead. Blend the concealer into your skin with a small eye shadow brush.
4. Apply cream contour to your upper forehead, beneath the cheekbones, along the sides of the nose, on the outer corners of the lower lip and along the jawline. Diffuse the product with a contouring brush.
5. Apply foundation to your skin, pressing it into place with a damp beauty sponge.
6. Tap the loose setting powder into the jar lid, then dip a damp beauty sponge into the powder. Press the sponge against the entire eye area, onto the forehead and along the bridge of the nose to set the foundation.
7. Warm up your complexion by sweeping bronzing powder over the tops of your cheeks with a fluffy cheek brush.
8. Brush blush onto the apples of your cheeks with the fluffy cheek brush.
9. Sweep gold highlighter onto the tops of your cheekbones and below the arch of your brows with a highlighter brush.
