Create a 3D heart pendant accent nail

Is it possible to have too much jewelry? That's a rhetorical question, of course. People have adorned themselves with jewels for centuries, so it's no wonder 3D nail designs that look like actual gems are all the rage. This heart accent nail looks like it includes a gemstone, but it's all an illusion.
This fabulous ruby red heart "pendant," calls for rhinestone charms as well as metallic transfer foil. When the foil is pressed onto a painted red heart, it creates the illusion of individual facets, such as those found in gemstones. Add a faux bezel and a beaded chain, and you'll have a 3D pendant – or at least something that looks like one.

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of white gel polish to your nails. Cure them in between coats with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Paint two red circles on the nail with the dotting tool, and join them together by drawing a straight line in the middle and on the sides wiht the fine detail brush to create a heart shape. Fill it in and cure the paint with the lamp.
3. Press a square of red metallic transfer foil against the red heart.
4. Apply clear gel top coat to the heart and slightly outside its borders. While the polish is wet, use tweezers to place small beads around the outside edges as if you’re creating a golden bezel.
5. Place small rhinestone charms all around the outside of the gold beads.
6. Apply more gold beads at the top of the heart in a “V” shape to simulate the chain, and cure the gel with the lamp to set the “pendant.”
