Stipple your foundation for a natural but flawless finish

As the skin ages, it's natural for more texture and fine lines to appear. For some, they believe this means wearing foundation is out, as the effect is too obvious and cakey. There's a technique, however, that will allow you to build coverage and even skin tone without ever looking too made up.
Stippling on your foundation is a fantastic method to give your skin the most beautiful finish. It is easy to try out at home and guaranteed to give you a more natural (and long-lasting) base to your makeup.

Instructions
1. Take your foundation on the top of your flat-topped kabuki brush. Dab it into your face, focusing on the areas that need the most coverage.
2. Continue with that same dabbing motion to blend the foundation into the skin until there are no harsh edges.
3. Using the same flat-topped kabuki brush, take a light dusting of translucent powder over any areas with fine lines. This will set the foundation and prevent it from settling in and accentuating the texture.
4. Take your concealer of choice on the smaller, pointed-topped kabuki. Using the same dabbing motion, apply underneath the eyes to build up coverage.
