Create an upscale camouflage design with silver accents

Historically, camouflage fabric and paint were used to help soldiers blend in with the surrounding foliage. It made them difficult to spot, and tan, brown, and green were the most common colors. These days, camouflage can be seen in apparel as well as nail designs.
Instead of being traditional, why not try this red, white, and blue camo design? The shapes are irregular, so it’s a perfect way to practice your painting skills. But no patriotic manicure would be complete without a dash of silver and some accompanying nail charms to give it texture and style.

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of white gel polish to the nails, then cure them with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Place small amounts of each colored nail paint onto the mixing palette. This will make it easier to complete the design. Tip: If you don't have light blue jelly polish, mix a small amount of white polish into the blue with a toothpick to create a lighter shade.
3. Begin the camouflage pattern by painting irregular shapes with the light blue polish with the detail brush.
4. Apply dark blue shapes next to the light blue shapes, overlapping them slightly, then cure the nails with the lamp.
5. Add similar shapes using the red paint and the detail brush. Cure your nails with the lamp once more.
6. Fill in the area closest to the cuticle with silver gel paint by using the flat nail brush, then cure your nails with the lamp again.
7. Apply a small amount of builder nail gel onto the nail as a base for the nail charms.
8. Use the toothpick to position the silver charms on top of the builder gel, then cure the nails with the lamp.
