Celebrate the season with a golden Christmas tree accent nail

This golden magnetic nail design takes the trend a step further by adding a Christmas tree studded with shiny charms. The following tutorial will show you how to create a single accent nail to accompany a golden manicure, but there's no reason to stop at one shiny tree. Follow your instincts, and paint with passion.

Materials
- White gel nail polish
- UV or LED lamp (not shown)
- Fine detail nail art brush
- Gold metallic magnetic nail paint
- Nail magnet
- Clear gel base coat polish
- Wax rhinestone picker tool
- Gold nail charms

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of white gel nail polish to the accent fingernail, and cure each layer in between coats with the UV or LED lamp. The tutorial shows this technique on the ring fingernail, but you can choose any nail.
2. Use the gold metallic paint and fine detail brush to paint a triangle shape on the accent nail with the point facing the cuticle. Cure the paint with the lamp.
3. Apply a second coat of gold metallic paint to the triangle shape, then hold the magnet over it for 10 seconds. This will allow the cat-eye line to appear. Cure the design under the UV or LED lamp.
4. Apply a single dot of clear gel base coat to the tip of the triangle as well as the gold portion of the nail, then use the picker tool to set the nail charms into the wet polish. Tip: Use a mixture of different shapes on the triangle, and top it with a gold star.

5. Cure the nail once more with the lamp.
