How to style a cluster hair donut look

Now that temperatures are dropping, carefree hairstyles have been on the rise because of their ease and minimal upkeep. Nothing is more carefree and easy to pull together than this festive cluster bun look. Gather a hair donut and a few other hair tools to get started.
Here’s a quick tip about hair buns: They tend to work best on second- or third-day hair. However, if you want to achieve the look on clean hair, spray some hair shampoo on your strands to minimize the silky texture that’s often associated with freshly washed hair.
- Hairbrush (not shown)
- Hair tie
- Hair clips
- 2 or 3 hair donuts
- Bobby pins
- Spin pins
- Hair spray
- Fine-tooth comb
1. Pull your hair into a high ponytail, and part your strands into three even sections – clipping the other two away.
2. Pull the middle section of hair through one of the hair donuts and wrap strands around it. Be sure to spread the hair to completely cover the hair donut.
3. Repeat the same steps on the other two sections of hair and pin the buns in place with as many bobby pins you need.
4. Dress each bun with a decorative spin pin.
5. Smooth away any flyaways using hair spray and a fine-tooth comb.
