How to turn two high ponytails into braided space buns

Remember wearing braids as a kid? If you had long hair as a child in elementary school, you probably wore a lot of ponytails and even more braids. While you might be a little too mature for braided ponytails now, you can certainly rock these braided space buns.
This may have been a trending style in the 90s, but its roots date back to the 1970s. Thank Carrie Fisher's Star Wars stylist for giving Princess Leia a set of ear-hugging "cinnamon buns" that set off a trend that people have been modifying ever since.
