Hack or wack? Mood color changing lipstick

Color changing products have been around for decades, and "mood" lipstick is no exception. These fun products begin with an initial color that changes once it comes in contact with your body. Your pH and the moisture in your lips triggers the ingredient Red 27 to change color, usually to some shade of pink.
These fantastical lippies are not only colorful, but they're also long-lasting. Once the stain sets, it's fairly budge-resistant and won't transfer onto your coffee mug or your sweetie's cheek. To see how different colors transform, check out the short video. It was amazing how long they remained vivid on the lips when put through a lip scrub test.

Materials
- Color changing lipstick in your choice of colors (green, blue, yellow)
Directions
1. As with all lip products, start with freshly exfoliated lips. This keeps the color from settling into lines and looking patchy.
2. If you want a hot pink lip, apply the green lipstick. It will transform to hot pink.
3. If a purple/pink hue is more your style, grab the blue lipstick and go to town.
4. If you're looking for something with more of a coral tinge, use the yellow lipstick.
Most of these lip products are hydrating and comfortable because of their high wax content. They're also fun to apply in public.
