Ever since K-beauty took the skin care community by storm, sheet masks (and their accompanying selfies) are everywhere. You can find them in most big box stores and even local drug stores. If you love sheet masks for their hydrating and relaxing effects but hate not knowing exactly what's in them, you'll love this tutorial video.
Making custom sheet masks at home is pretty simple and only requires a few items. You'll need compressed sheet masks (also known as coin masks). These are often made with dehydrated cotton that you soak in your choice of liquid to create a wet mask. If you can't find them in a nearby store, go online. They're very cheap. This particular recipe contains ingredients that are moisturizing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. Ready for a little "me" time?

1. Mix the honey and essential oil together in one of the bowls.
2. Fill the second bowl with water and soak the sheet mask in it until it is fully saturated.
3. Remove the mask from the water, squeezing out the excess. If the mask seems too large, customize it by making a few cuts around the edges with a pair of scissors before putting it in the honey mixture. Once it fits, immerse it in the honey mixture.
4. Here comes the fun part: Apply the mask to your face, smoothing out the wrinkles to ensure a good fit.
5. Kick back and relax for 30 minutes, and remove the mask. If your face feels sticky (which it probably will), use a warm, wet washcloth to wipe away the excess or hop in the shower and rinse it away.
Say hello to plump, dewy skin.
