How to create autumn-inspired chevron nails

Looking to change up your manicure this autumn? Although pumpkin spice may be all the rage, this dramatic double chevron manicure makes good use of two of fall's most prominent colors: burnished red and pumpkin orange. When added to a creamy nude nail, the finished appearance is both seasonal and sensational.
To achieve this look, all you need to do is draw some diagonal lines as a guide and fill them in. The tutorial shows how simple it is, and by using gel polish and paint, the artwork will last far longer than ordinary polish alone.

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of nude gel nail polish and cure with UV or LED lamp.
2. Draw a "V" with the red nail paint so that the point faces the nail tip using a fine tipped art brush.
3. Draw a second "V" slightly above the first one, and fill the area between the lines to create a wide "V" shape. Repeat on all nails, and cure.
4. Draw another "V" in front of the red one using the orange paint. Once all the nails are complete, cure again.
