How to do natural makeup without any brushes

When you're going for a natural look, your makeup routine is pared down to the bare minimum. You can skip heavy foundation and that complicated eye shadow look, but have you ever tried doing your entire face by using just your fingers? Your masterful hands can work wonders, especially when using creamy, hydrating products.
For this natural look, leave brushes in the drawer and watch this helpful tutorial. It will walk you through the short process step by step. For this look, lipstick does double duty on the cheeks, and liquid highlighter brightens your eyes. You can even lighten up your regular base makeup by creating a concealing moisturizer with two products you normally apply separately.

Ready to get beautiful without those brushes? Let's get started.
Materials
- Hydrating moisturizer
- Liquid concealer or foundation
- Hydrating rose-toned lipstick (do not use matte)
- Liquid highlighter
Directions
1. Mix a few drops of moisturizer and concealer (or foundation, if you prefer) in the palm of your hand, and apply it to your entire face in gentle motions. Pat and press in the mixture to make sure there are no blotches or bare spots.
2. Apply liquid concealer to the under eye area using your ring finger in tapping motions. ( Your ring finger is weaker than the others and applies products gently.)
3. Swipe a few stripes of lipstick on your cheeks. Alternate between patting and rubbing motions. Start with just a little color and work it in. You can always add more but you don't want to start over. You can also dab some on your chin, forehead and nose for a rosy glow.
4. Using the back of your hand as a palette, add some liquid highlighter and dab it on the high points of your cheeks. You can also use this on your eye lids to brighten your eyes.
5. Finish by applying the same lipstick to your lips.
Like what you see? This may very well be your new go-to routine.
