How to customize lashes to make eyes appear more open

If you've ever shopped for false lashes, you know that making a selection can be really tough. Most people tend to go for something that looks natural but slightly fuller and, of course, longer than their natural lashes. But what if you can't find the exact pair you're looking for? Easy! Customize your own.
Just because strip lashes come preformed doesn't mean you can't add to them to achieve your desired effect. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to customize full strips with individual lashes. Although it sounds complicated at first, it's actually super simple. Grab your lashes and tools and watch how easy it is to create added drama by customizing.

Materials
- Full lash strips
- Individual lashes
- Scissors
- Lash glue
- Tweezers
Directions
1. Remove a new strip lash from the packaging by pressing down on the lashes with your thumb. Don't remove it entirely; just move it away from its original position. You'll use the packaging as a surface for customizing.
2. With scissors, remove some of the lashes from the inner corner of the strip. You can use these in the next step or discard them.
3. Replace the strip lash in the case where it was originally.
4. Squeeze a small amount of lash glue onto a clean surface. (The inside of the lash package cover works well.)
5. Pick up an individual lash bundle with tweezers, dip it into the glue and place it against the center of the lash strip band. You're going to create a fuller center by repeating this with additional lashes.
6. When you're satisfied with the fullness in the customized lash strip, apply glue to the lash band and adhere close to your natural lash line. Applying a little extra glue to the inner and outer corners will provide better adhesion.
Once you're done, simply repeat with the other lash.
