How to apply liquid eyeliner

Have you ever swiped on a perfectly straight line of liquid liner, only to see it smudged all over your lid? This is often because the eyeliner didn't dry quickly enough. Blinking with still-wet eyeliner is a sure way to smear it everywhere.
There's a quick makeup tip to fix that problem. Incorporate this little trick into your eyeliner routine, and you'll have smudge-free lids every time. All you need is eyeliner and a mirror.

Materials
- Liquid eyeliner
- Handheld mirror
Instructions
1. Tilt your head back slightly and look down into the mirror. You should tilt your head back as far as it can go while allowing you to see what you're doing.
2. Carefully swipe eyeliner along your lashline in strong, smooth strokes.
3. Resist the urge to blink as long as possible, and don't open your eyes all the way for a few minutes. This gives the eyeliner time to dry.
Voila! A strong, smooth line of eyeliner with no smears in sight. To speed up the drying process, you can aim a small hand fan at your face. The air flow will dry it more quickly so you can go about your day.
