1. Subtle, gradient blue
For a cool-toned look with an original slant, try applying a combination of white, light blue, and dark blue shades to create a look that grows more intense as it reaches the corner.
2. Opposites attract
If you understand color theory, then you know that orange and blue make a dynamic combination. In this look, a sweep of apricot shadow across the lid and under the brow bone offset the blue crease and under eye in a beautiful way.
3. Tropical holiday
If you're planning a night on the town, amp up your blue by going metallic. This gorgeous look uses a coppery orange for contrast and a deep amethyst to create a playful multicolored look.

4. Go for the gold
If the thought of a totally blue lid just isn't working for you, consider creating a warm upper lid, then contrast it with a gradient of blue and teal below.
5. Taupe on top
To create a striking pop of color, use royal blue on the lower waterline and combine it with matte taupe in the crease and a taupe satin on the lid. Finish the look by smoking out the lower lash line with navy or midnight blue shadow.
6. Choose covert cobalt
Wearing blue to work doesn't have to be a no no. Concentrate on building a matte lid with neutral colors, then add cobalt blue just to the outer third of the upper lid. You can add a touch under the lower lashes as well. Finish with a thick black liner, and the blue will only be visible up close.
7. Gorgeous glittery glam
When you want to turn every head in the room, add some glitter to your finished look. The trio of bone, peach, and navy with a shimmery touch is guaranteed to stop traffic.

8. Pick pastels
When Pantone selected a pair of shades as colors of the year in 2016, Rose Quartz (pink) and Serenity (blue) found their way into virtually every home...makeup being no exception. This gorgeous look pairs both winners in romantic pastels.
