7 tips you should be following for healthy glowing skin

Healthy skin looks radiant and youthful at any age, but a busy schedule can undermine your efforts. Luckily, you can improve your skin's health in a very short period of time by following a simple routine.
If your skin looks a little dried out or sallow, then showing it some love will work wonders. Treat your body right by drinking lots of water and eating healthy foods, and you'll be glowing in no time.

1. Ditch the high pH cleanser
Fluffy, foamy cleansers are so fun. They make clouds of cleaning goodness, but they also tend to be very stripping to the skin. Look for a cleanser labeled 5.5 or low pH. These clean your skin thoroughly without eliminating natural oils.
2. Exfoliate regularly
Dry, dead skin can make your face look dull. By adding a gentle exfoliating product to your routine, you'll encourage your skin to create new skin cells while boosting your skin's glow power.
3. Add a glycolic toner
Toners help your skin absorb other products and can also lightly exfoliate at the same time. Sweep the toner over dry, clean skin with a cotton pad. It will remove any excess makeup and prep for face for additional products.
4. Use a hydrating face mask at least once a week
Sheet masks are not just for bedtime or spa days. In just 15-20 minutes, they infuse your skin with moisture, and many can help calm irritation, brighten, and minimize wrinkles.
5. Learn to love facial oils
I know what you're thinking. "How can oil be good for my skin without breaking me out?" Most of the facial oils on the market today are lightweight and don't clog pores. They provide deep-level nourishment and help your skin look refreshed and dewy.
6. Seal in your moisture properly
During winter, especially, your skin needs an added layer of protection to lock in moisture. Save your pump-style lotion for the spring or summer and switch to a cream based product in a jar. It will seal in hydration and block irritation from the wind and cold.
7. Hydrate from within
Drinking enough water during the day works for your body as well as your skin...but it takes longer to reach the surface. Eating water-rich foods and drinking water instead of soda will help hydrate your body from the inside.
